Lancaster High School Football

One of the most anticipated sports of the fall season is upon us. It has a die hard fan base. It is known as high school football. My local high school, Hempfield high school, is home of the Black Knights. Personally my favorite part is feeling the energy of the crowd. Just the general atmosphere of a football game can lead to positive feelings. But high school football doesn't only include football. There are the cheerleaders, leading the crowd in cheering and chants for the team to win. This also includes the band, who has good songs to pump everyone up. Well getting all excited about the game really can make someone hungry, so that usually means a trip to the concession stand for a quick snack that tastes pretty good. When the game is over though there is always a team who goes home with their heads held high and full of spirit, also the team who just lost but is going to practice very hard and comeback the following week and hopefully win.
